Projecting Your Self

The larger the house the more you need to project. This is a given in the performing world.  But is it the same in the outside world?

Just look at street fashion in concentrated areas like New York City or Tokyo, Japan.

The more people living in a concentrated area, the more you have to know yourself and project that self, in order to be seen.

In a small town that is not concentrated at all, every move you make or change in clothing is noticed.  Small town, small projection.

Either is valid.

The question is where do you choose to live?  How do you project yourself?

Have you chosen a place where every detail is noticed (and anything too big or loud is ‘inappropriate’ for the venue)?  Or have you chosen a concentrated area that takes a lot of effort to be seen?  And then the question is, what have you chosen to do in that area… be seen or slip by unseen?
